Anniversary Indonesia 1945-2009
Anniversary RI 17-8 (1945-2009)

64 is just a number, nothing more nothing less. For human, 64 is the age of beyond maturity, the age of human retiring and releasing from all formality. A big question for us, Indonesia people, what we’d already done and got in/for 64 years… Some said that US need 100 years becoming a developed country and some states in Latin America which had been freedom for more than 100 years just pegged at middle-income countries..so the number “64” is nothing comparing to those… words that flattered our laziness and in-diciplines being a nation…

DIMANA-MANA (refreshing): Kalo alm. mbah Surip terkenal dengan lagunya yang agak “ngeledek” yang salah satu syair-nya …kemana-mana, penulis teringat dengan obrolan teman satu kampung selama setahun lebih di Aceh, …di mana-mana. Alkisah saat berdomisili di Banda Aceh, penulis ber-tetangga-an (namanya lupa entah siapa), satu kompleks dan satu jalan, tepatnya di Desa Lamdom, Kec. Leung Batee, dengan salah seorang Jamaah Tabligh yang kerjanya di penerbitan di Kota Lhok Seumawe. Meski bertetanggaan dan ber-sebelah-an rumah di Lamdom, penulis dan si Jamaah Tabligh itu tidak pernah berserobok muka (bahasa Sumatera nih..) di desa yang sama (Lamdom, red), sampe penulis hengkang dari Banda. Tapi ajaibnya, penulis dan si Jamaah Tabligh suka berselisihan muka secara tanpa sengaja di luar desa Lamdom. Di Masjid Baiturrahman, di Lhok Seumawe, di Medan Mall, bahkan di Jakarta. Terakhir pas ketemu secara tak sengaja di Jakarta, si Jamaah Tabligh ngomong, “kita nih satu kampung (Lamdom), tapi ketemu-nya entah di-mana-mana.” He he segitu aja…
