Gurita in English is Octopus, a kind of Deep Sea Animal with many tentacles..

The Picture above is the cropping of a cover of a book banned by Indonesian Authority, titled “Gurita Cikeas” by …., just a few days after the release. Gurita, actually is a deep sea animal living in big and deep ocean which had many tentacles. Gurita sometimes symbolized the family and mafia link made by the empire or regime to describe how much the link deeply influenced  the system or the states in economics, financial, tender of projects, etc. Otherwise, gurita also is also named as the kind of dress wearing for the baby/small baby just born.

Indonesian Orchids: Indonesia are a home of so many beautiful orchids in worlds. We can find many species of orchid grew in Indonesian forest of Sumatera, Java, Borneo, Papua, Celebes, etc. Many specific orchirds only can be found around Indonesian Archipelago, like, black Orchirds that found in Borneo. Orchirds are a kind of parasite plant s  which living and taking their food from the trees they settled/occupied.

From many literature, ironically, we are sorrow to know that some countries nearby Indonesia, like Thailand for examples,  already succeed to develop some orchids becoming an important commodities and attracts many tourists to visits their orchids plantations and becoming a symbol/identity of their succesful in developing that plant.

I am not expert in botany or agronomy or others related with the plants studies, but I  like the beauty aura from the orchids with the blossom of their flowers coloring in red, white, pinks and yellow. (Sources Kompas).  Comment and Analysis: Indonesia with so many rich natural resources will be leak of energy power, it is so embarassing conditions, meanwhile so many smart and intellect people with electrical engineering background just do nothing with that poorer conditions of Indonesia power supply.

CITY FOREST: RTH (Ruang Terbuka Hijau or Green Area) in a city can be a vacant land along the river-banks and drainage, inland water, reservoir, coast-line, and SUTET area ( under  High Volatage area), and along the Toll roads. UUTR , Indonesia Spatial Constitution, oblighted a city providing 30% of it’s city area to become a zone of green area, moreless 200 km2. The divisions  responsibility of this constitutions are: 20% from public and 10% from the private. In  currently case of Jakarta 2009, this city only provide 9.6% (estimate approximiate area is 50-60 km2 of  660 km2 DKI area) of its area. By seeing the current and the fact situation and conditions of Jakarta environment and the existing of the rest  Jakarta green area, the numbers of 60 or 50 km2 of green area  is the true numbers or just a fake estimate numbers…? wallahu alam..

Papua’s male traditional clothes which cover only the genital area of his body made from the umbi or roots of certain plants called koteka. Yap, Papuas male primarly the natives which inhabits in mainland of Papua wear the clothes only covers his genital area. This “clothes’ shaped the form of genital’s male which had long and sometimes fat forms and it only cover the penis not the ball of one’s male. And koteka was tied up to the body (the under body) with the tails. Wanna try the koteka? He he…better wear koteka in the origin area.. more colder the weather, more fascinating wearing the koteka.. the natives said.

THE KOTEKA: Koteka, traditionally used and wear by some native people in remote inland of Papua and Papua New Guinea. Many variations of Koteka can be found right now, and sometimes it declares the class or the strata the man use that clothes. The more vary of Koteka, the more higher the class of the man used it. So, if we travel to inland area of Papua, we can find that the head/leader of a clan/tribes used more beautiful koteka. And for the outcomer, we are not allowed to photograph them instantly. They will ask the permission for the purpose of the photos we will take.  The instant way, we can provide them some needed things to persuade, such as, cigarette, money, etc.

MODERNIZATION: In some part, modernization is a better way to improve the quality of lives one person or groups in a community. But in other part, modernization sometimes will decrease the the value of traditional culture of one region, primarly the spirit of the culture.  Modernization of The Papua, for example, making Papuan people wear the normal/standard clothes.

Otherwise, I can’t find out which koteka suit my “18 cm” size… He he..

ADNAN BUYUNG NASUTION: Bang Adnan itu orang yang pinter dan keukeh serta idealis yang masih tersisia di Indonesia. Dari artikel yang pernah penulis baca pada jaman baheula, Bang Adnan itu rela meninggal prospek karir dari calon tukang batu (Dept. T. Sipil. ITB, versi-nya bang Adnan) untuk menjadi seorang Ahli Hukum. Berbeda dengan Amrik yang bagian Hukum-nya dipenuhi oleh orang-orang pinter dan logis,  Dept of Law, Harvard, Princeton, Yale, per-hukum-an di Indonesia masih rendah dan kurang.. terutama terlihat dari sumber daya manusia yang memilih Fakultas tsb sebagai alternatif setelah bidang ekonomi (Akuntansi, Manajemen, SP, dll) . etc. Berjuang, terus bang.. demi keadilan dan kebenaran. Nasionalisme dan patriotisme orang-orang Sumatera Bagian Utara ngga perlu diragukan lagi dalam kancah per-Indonesia-an ini..he he

The Fried Food: If you go around Jakarta or Indonesia regions, you will find many various of Indonesia traditional food. In Indonesia language, these foods usually called ‘Jajanan Pasar’ and always sold in many shops along nearby the roads complete with the tools of cooking. Yap, these foods usually are fried in coconut oil and had a sweet and nice taste. These pictures are taken in inner area of Garut, West Java. Wanna some? or 3-some? He he just kidding…

PREPARING CHRISTMAST: This Chrismast Tree was taken at Mas Pong Car Wash, Jalan Alternative Cibubur. Jakarta Timur.

If you always make travelling between Jakarta Area to Bandung, or do the reverse, maybe the first time in your mind, you will first choose the fastest way to the destination from Jakarta. And the main choice is by traveling through via Tol Cikampek-Cipularang-Padaleunyi. The estimate time driving from Jakarta Area to Bandung is moreless 1.5 hours by private vehicles or it takes 2 (two) until 3 (three) hours by public transportations. Yap, saving more times for the busy people/bussinessman and the important one is you no need to spend the night at Bandung (otherwise adding your budget for accomodation) and your aims visiting Bandung are already done.

Yap, Cipularang Tol is the best alternative way reached to Bandung from Jakarta. But, if we analyse more deeply  related to several/many transportation passing through this tol, maybe we can be surprised of something. For example: Destination from Bogor to Bandung, which more frequently used this Cipularang Toll comparing the traditional way of Bandung Bogor via Puncak or formerly called Jalan Pos. Jalan Pos was made by The Dutch Colonial through all Java Island from Anyer in West Tip of Western Java untill Panarukan in the eastern of Java.

LONGER BUT FASTER: If you see the map from google earth the position of Bogor and Bandung, it is clear that the distance between the two cities are closer if we do travelling the 2 cities by via Puncak. But, some people ignore that condition, because although the distance is short but the times travel is too long for travelling to Bandung Via Puncak. What lessons we can take from this conditions? So many lesson we can take from this, such as: 1. Quality Of The Roads, 2. Managing Roads Infrastructure, 3.Optional of Roads Destination Surrounding.

Quality of The Roads are regarding to the class of The road. In this case, people prefer to choose using the Toll roads than the conventional/traditional road, The Post Roads. That’s why, the authority must provide to improve the quality of the roads. Minimizing the amounts of crossing roads through the post roads, limitation of the motor cycle that always making troble andaccident along the roads, etc.
